Organic
We at Desedem farms, want to grow fruits that we can eat ourselves. We grow our fruits without the use of synthetic pesticides or harmful agrochemicals. For us, going organic is a way of insisting on environmental responsibility.
We have identified four key sustainability metrics in the light of organic farming performance. We believe going organic is going to increase our productivity, environmental impact, economic viability and the social wellbeing of our consumers.
With the successful installation of an irrigation system, we are going to increase our soil and tree health, with a disease-resistant mango orchard, that is going to help us harvest more nutritious fruits that contain less (or no) pesticide residues, as compared to conventional farming. In the long term, we aspire to only cultivate, produce, process and sell internationally-accredited and 100% certified organic natural food products.
